Interview with Professor Berger on the third edition
This extraordinary multimedia project integrates print components (a Case Study and a Handbook) with digital content (videos, html-programmed, interactive training aids, pdf documents etc) on the enclosed USB-Card into a comprehensive practice building toolbox for the three main ways of resolving international business disputes: negotiation, business mediation and international commercial arbitration.
Its interactive digital content includes more than four hours of highly realistic video simulations of all three dispute resolution procedures as well as pdfs of all documents produced before and during the dispute resolution process. Among these materials are the comprehensive contract documentation, the negotiation agreement and settlement contract concluded by the parties during the mediation, as well as the parties’ briefs and nine procedural orders and two arbitral awards on jurisdiction and on the merits issued by the arbitral tribunal during the arbitration.
Together with the other interactive training and practice building tools contained on the USB-Card, the project provides vivid and highly realistic visualizations of the advocacy skills required in international ADR and - through the comprehensive case documentation - unique opportunities for a profound understanding of the practical functioning of the three different approaches to the resolution of disputes in international business.
